Mario A. Fioritto, Jr.

Licensed Funeral Director
Mario Jr., son of founders Mario A. and Corinne P. Fioritto, has worked at the funeral home his entire life. A 1976 graduate of Charles F. Brush High School and 1980 graduate of John Carroll University, Mario served his apprenticeship under his father while attending John Carroll, becoming a second-generation Funeral Director licensed in 1981. He lives in Lyndhurst and enjoys music, playing bocce, watching baseball and spending time with his family. He is a member of Knights of Columbus Gilmour Council 310, Treasurer of the Societa San Antonio di Padova of Blue Rock Spring, Past-President of the Rionero Sannitico Recreational Club, Board Member of Club Molisani, Member of Americans of Italian Heritage, Order of Italian Sons and Daughters of America University Lodge, Charles F. Brush and JCU Alumni Associations, Charter Member of the Funeral Ethics Commission, Member of The National Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Embalmers Association and was a founding member of the John Carroll University Italian Club.

DonnaMarie Fioritto-Tamburro

Licensed Funeral Director since 1975. She was one of the first women in the 70s to be an active funeral director,  not just holding a license but playing an active role in the funeral business. Her husband Paul Tamburro, Jr. passed away in 1997.  At that time DonnaMarie took a brief hiatus. She worked  for a  computer consulting firm during this time.  Upon her return in 2000 to the family-run funeral home she brought a new level of compassion to the families she serves having experienced  her own grief firsthand.

DonnaMarie attended Beaumont School for Girls, Eastern Cuyahoga Community College and Notre Dame College of Ohio.

DonnaMarie is the mother of four children. Her first child, Mark A. Schneider, is an attorney.

Her second son William A. Schneider, is a licensed funeral director who works side-by-side with her in the family business.

Her daughter, Cristine Yankovic, also works in the family business as the Comptroller. Cristine and her husband John have 3 children, which are the light of DonnaMarie’s life.

DonnaMarie’s youngest daughter, Mariana Tamburro, is a recent graduate of Xavier University in Accounting and Finance.

DonnaMarie is an active member of Christ Child of the Western Reserve, where she has served as a board member & chairman of the Daisy Classic for three years. She is a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW post 7536, and is a member of the benefit committee for House of Champions.

She is a Past member of Beaumont Mothers Club,  Gilmour Academy Mothers Club and Mayfield Boosters. DonnaMarie enjoys golf, spending time with her grandchildren and is an active member in a book club.

William A. Schneider

Licensed Funeral Director
Bill Schneider, the son of DonnaMarie Fioritto-Tamburro, is a third-generation Funeral Director. Bill is a graduate of Gilmour Academy (’95) and John Carroll University (’00.) Bill began working with his family in 1996 before the start of his second year at John Carroll. Bill worked at the funeral home full time while also coaching baseball at Gilmour in addition to carrying a full class load. He became a Licensed Funeral Director in 2005. He lives in Highland Heights and enjoys playing golf with his friends and is a bleeding-heart Cleveland sports fan. Bill is also currently employed by Gilmour Academy as an assistant Baseball Coach, a position he has held since 1996. Bill is a member of Ohio Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, Gilmour Academy Alumni Association, Treasurer of Gilmour Baseball Boosters, John Carroll University Alumni Association, Mayfield High School Boosters, Red Line Club, Holy Angels Church, Italian Sons and Daughters of America University Lodge and Vice President of the Rionero Sannitico Recreational Club.
